All 3 of the M-1350's I have are without a fiberboard disc as called

The M1850GG I burned didn't have a disc. The only time I've seen them is for Skidmark propellant.

AMW has have found that the disc is not needed in M1350WW. We went to a slightly smaller diameter smoke element and eliminated the need for the nozzle insulation washer. The change in smoke element can be determined by the wall thickness of the smoke element paper liner. The new smoke element has ~3/16" wall thickness .vs. the original wall thickness that matches the grain liners.
We apologize that the motor assembly instructions were not updated on some product shipped this summer. The fiber disc needed to be removed from the parts list and the assembly instructions on the M1350WW. If you end up with a motor with a disc (and the larger smoke element), it should be used per the instructions included.
