Unloading a whole lot of Rocket stuff

Guys, if any of you are in the Santa Clarita Calif area (LA, Ventura, Kern or San Bernardino County) and you want to pick up some rocket stuff at a good price, you need to contact me. I'm cutting back and cleaning out a bunch of things. I've got unbuilt models from when Michael's was selling out, I've got loads of built models, tubes, nose cones, 'chutes, decals, lots of odds and ends. I've got two tubs of crashed rockets that are good for scrounging up spare parts or bashing into other things. Any way, shipping on ebay would be a killer because some of this stuff is bulky or big. If a guy wanted to come buy and make me an offer I would be open to it. I don't have a complete list of what is there. Suffice to say that it fills several large plastic storage tubs. So, contact me and we can set up a time for you to come buy and see what you might want. We can haggle on the prices face to face. snipped-for-privacy@comcast.net

Reece,

Wouldn't happen to have an old Battlestar Colonial Viper in all that would you? I'm mainly looking for the n/c but could use an old Viper in any condition.

Thanks,

Randy

With the price of gas what it is, that's a bit to far on my budget, wish it was closer.

I was just out your way last weekend..Jawbone Canyon, hunting quail and chukkar. Figure that if you used 6 gallons of gas round trip that's about what $16.00? If you loaded up on kits and spare parts you would come out ahead considering no sales tax, no shipping etc. Just a thought. Perhaps if you intend to get down here for some other reason we could kill two birds with one stone? Of course, I may be off on the amount of gas it takes. It seems to me though, that you're about 30 miles north east of Lancaster right? Lancaster is 50 mile from me (I'm 91350, Saugus) That makes it about

80 miles to me from your place or 160 RT. At 20 mpg that works out to 8 gallons of gas or about $21.00. It is getting pricy isn't it? Hmm, well, like I said, if you have to be down here for something else why not set up a meet and double dip?
