That page is getting bookmarked! There was a company called "32 Parallel" that did one in 1/32 that had firing torpedoes even.

Stan Lee's WAS the only Silver Surfer! The way they made the Akula models for that film so they would implode when hit by torpedos was very interesting. The models were made out of very thin sheet lead over vacuumated "Carboy" glass bottles, then suspended underwater. When blasting caps shattered the bottles the whole hull would collapse from the vacuum inside.
