Does anybody have Zaloga's book handy?
If so, can someone look up what kinds of tanks and other AFVs the Iraqis had in Palestine in 1948?
I ask because I'm reading the debrief of an Israelisortie on May 30,
1948, when the IAF attacked the Iraqi column outside Tulkarm. One pilot mentions strafing four "light British (Alexander)" tanks. I have no idea what an Alexander tank might be, and I don't think anyone else does either. Does Zaloga mention anything in Iraqi service like that?
