Best F14 Kit

Hi Dave,

The most detailed kit is the Hasegawa later mould, although there are a couple of areas of the build that require a little care, notably the forward fuselage to main fuselage joint and the boat tail to main fuselage joint..

If you can find one the Fujimi kit is also a fine replica, a smidgen less detailed than the Hasegawa one, but IMHO a much easier build, this is my personal favourite.

The Italeri & Airfix kits both have issues with the nose shape, but are priced much lower than the Hasegawa / Fujimi kits and look like Tomcats when built.
