The propellers which are included with the 1/48 Monogram C-47 kit seem to be the wrong type / shape for an AC-47 during the Vietnam War. Does anyone know what type propellers were actually fitted on AC-47's? Does anyone make them as an aftermarket add-on? I'd really hate to cannibalize another kit just for the props.

No one makes props just for C-47s. The props from a B-17 or B-24 would work. You could also get the F4U/F6F/F7F props from Cutting Edge, Obscuroco (?) or some others, and trim the diameter.
