C-47 DC-3 Landing Gear Conversion

The DC-3 had tubular main landing gear struts. The C-47, due to wartime manufacturing issues, changed to a forged/stamped main landing gear strut. The only 1/48 scale kit of either plane (Monogram's) uses the forged main gear strut for both planes. So, to make a DC-3 I need tubular main landing gear struts. I would really like to avoid having to scratch build them. Does anyone know of an aftermarket kit containing the tubular DC-3 struts? TIA

There are plenty of DC-3s, and C-53s, currently flying or in museums with the tubular gear. If I were building a DC-3 I's just bend some aluminium rod to make the strut, unless I had specific information otherwise.
