Hello all
what model paint is closest to the blue of the JW Gulf LeMans cars (ie the GT40 and the 917) ??
Testors light blue seems close when seen in the hobby store rack... Any other suggestions ??

The Testors in the 1/4 oz bottle (1108 I think?) is the closest you'll get without mixing in my opinion. v/r Jerry
Ah, there's good news tonight! If you're in the US.
Plasti-Kote makes Ford colors. You want FM 8090, an excellent match (maybe the original Ford color they used on the GT40s) and a cheap but decent paint as well.
Used it on a 1/43 917 with great success.
