I heard a rumour yesterday that there is some sort of get-together in April. Does anybody have info or a website?

TIA, Andrew

If you go to the website, you might also check out the Member Gallery and the Member Spotlight. I confess I have a vested interest in the Spotlight (February), but between the two features you can see a lot of photos of built-up models.

Yep, April 21, 2007 is the big show here in Seattle. Biggest show on the west coast, in all likelihood. There'll be a lot of cool vendors as well as a raffle. I'm not the raffle guy this year, although my name is still on the website. At our IPMS meeting on Saturday, I think they announced that there were 16 special trophies being awarded in addition to the regular trophy categories.

Also, there's display this weekend, Feb 17 and 18 at the Museum of Flight in Seattle. Many of the same modelers as IPMS Seattle, but this one is organized by NorthWest Scale Modelers. Free admission to the museum for both days if you display a model, free make-n-take for kids on Saturday Feb 17, plus presentation by Dr Bonnie Dunbar (current CEO of the museum and 5 time shuttle astronaut).

We're pretty busy around here at this time of year!
