KUDOS to "Highway 61"

I just received one of their newest rigs, the 1975 C-65 Chevrolet Flatbeds in 1/16 scale. A white one, with no idea how large they were until I held one in my hands.

I have to say that these trucks are so life-like, they make you feel like you could jump in and drive away. It's truly amazing: right down to the fluorescent GM orange needles on the instrument cluster. No detail was overlooked.

They have a GMC version too and several new grain truck models coming out in October, and I'm going to get at least one more.

It's remarkable how far the quality in these products has advanced in recent years, but this example is as close to real world perfection as I've ever seen coming off a Red production line.

You've got to see one to believe it. I mean, they could be used as movie props. I'm going to keep an eye on this scale, because the market is a lot more sophisticated than I thought it was and it's expanding.

Yeah, 1/18 scale is good, but 1/16 is TWICE as good!
