Monsters in Motion.....Good/Bad?

They're just 90 minutes up the freeway from me, so I can drive there. However, last time they didn't have what I wanted in stock and special ordered it. It arrived at my doorstep when they said it would (2 weeks), and they kept me updated as to its status via e-mail.

I was pretty happy about that.

Unfortunately, they also recasts of kits that are not there's to sell so I don't do business with them.

I've heard that too. I have a Lord of the Rings figure on pre order from them, due in the summer. First time I've ordered from them so we'll see.

Too bad they have the recast reputation because some of the stuff they carry is fantastic.

One tip though is when they mention he name of the manufacturer of whatever you are looking at, do a google search for it and you will probably find it at another site. I've done that lots of times. I use their site as a source for what is coming out and then go elsewhere.

I've have used Monstersinmotion.com many times and they are very reliable with good service. You should check their website out. It is updated frequently. If they don't have what you are looking for, let me know and I'll see if I can't provide you with another web site.

They suck, big time. I used to deal with them, but in the last year or so their service has gone WAY down. They rarely have anything in stock that I order & their so-called customer service is a joke. The last order I placed was mid year, last year. By Nov., nearly everything had finally arrived, except one book. In Dec., a book arrived, only it wasn't what I ordered. I sent emails, made a phone call, sent them a fax of the paperwork & book cover. Not only did they never send me the correct book, the SOBs wouldn't credit my CC or anything. I finally disputed the charge on my CC. They have some neat stuff, but I'll be hard pressed to deal with them again. Be careful.

I've gone through two orders with them. Both times the items shipped were not what I had ordered. It is a BIG ordeal to get it right. Ship it back on my dime, try to get them to credit my cc to cover their error when the correct item arrives etc.

Find another vendor that carries their products.
