Are there any major flaws with the old Tamiya 88 to merit getting this one??

Basically the Tamiya kit is 32 years old and pretty simplistic on details, has a 1.5" thick gun shield, and most of all comes with Snow White and the Eight Dwarves for crewmen.

It was the ne plus ultra kit in its day, but the technlology has moved on and it hasn't.
