I know I built it once, with the figures with gaps large enough to drive through. Even hand painted the flag with gloss paints ! them were the days when modeling was fun and carefree....... I digress.
Was this kit ever repopped? Sounds like a job for Moebius.

seems to be a1966 release. here is the kit on ebay and a box art pic. It appears that the kit leaves a lot to be desired...
