Looking through my AVG markings book (Osprey?) I noticed all the color profiles were B-C models except the last, which was a E. On all the B-Cs they had the earlier round exhaust stacks that pointed pretty much straight back but on the E they looked like they were a little longer and pointed down and back and appeared to be round. All I've found reference to was the early round style and the later flattened style, and that some earlier planes were refitted with the later exhausts. Does anyone know why the one image has round exhausts pointing down and back?
Thanks.
