I see photos of Super Cubs with two different rear window configurations. Some are rounded ones like the J-3. Others are large and rectangular like the L-2.
Did Piper offer an option on these windows? Or are the planes with the rectangular windows actually surplus military planes? I forget the designation of the military version of the PA-18, but I would expect the large windows on that version.
