Thanks Tom as that was another posability I thought of. It would be a lot of work but certainly the cheepest way to produce the item.


Just such a pity that I would need to scratch build the item in the first place.

offers 0.032 id/0.002 wall thickness Zeus Peek Sublite Wall Tubing, 20AWG. That was under the "thin wall tubing" section. They also offer stainless hypoderminc thin wall tubing at 0.0325" id, wall thickness 0.005".

Problem with attempting to drill out thicker wall plastic tubing is that a) it is rarely round and b) the plastic tends to stretch over the drill bit. You may be able to ream the plastic tubing, but I am thinking "good luck" both finding the appropriate sized reamer and then getting round tubing that you can ream and/or thin the wall thickness.
