Arrrggghhhhh....
This kit has the well deserved reputation as being just about the WORST aircraft model ever produced by a "major" company.
Even with a copy of the instructions...all you will get is a simplified guide to building something that does *not* look like an F-100...
:o)
I agree, damn amazing as there 72nd are the best
Of course, it should be kept in mind that ESCI's 1/48 F-100D was one of their very early aircraft efforts in this scale dating back to 1978. Their 1/72 F-100D/F was released almost a decade later and benefited from the intervening years of experience. One could see the quality of the 1/48 scale aircraft increase as the years went by. ESCI should be praised for their willingness to produced a large selection of 1/48 scale aircraft subjects, many of which were the first to be offered in
1/48th scale (e.g. Saab Viggen, Skyraider "Guppy", Mirage V, Sepecat Jaguar, UH-1D, Mirage F-1).BTW: This 1/48 kit was also released in USAF Thuderbirds markings.
