Information request : i bought the ICM 1/48 scale Spitfire Mk. VII high altitude fighter, but am unclear on what color it should be: PRU blue? isn't that just for photo recon birds? Is it really Ocean grey then? Thanks for your help. snipped-for-privacy@yahoo.com Steve

Sea Grey Medium over PRU Blue or Deep Sky IIRC
Mk VIIs were delivered in the High Altitude Fighter Scheme of Medium Sea Grey uppersurfaces and PRU Blue lowersurfaces. Some were later repainted in the standard Day Fighter Scheme.

OK Great! I am getting an almost universal answer, indicating Medium Sea Grey topside, PRU Blue underside. The instruction sheet calls for MSG on top and Azure Blue on the bottom. But I will go with PRU on the bottom unless I find otherwise.
Thanks!
Steve
No, Azure Blue is the blue used on Desert schemes as an undersurface colour with Dark Earth and Stone on uppers.
