Don't know about "ultra" modern, but Dragon had its Quartermaster series of small arms sets that featured modern weapons. Included modern Nato and Warsaw Pact weapons. Haven't seen them recently. Check out the list on Dragon's website, then see if any online retailers still stock them. GPO

Check out Ebay item 5929308493. Includes M4 with SOPMOD, ACOGs, M68s, and PEQ-2. Great detail, but I've heard they're rather brittle.
