Hi Aron,
This functionality will be available in SolidWorks 2007 which is currently in Pre-Release. I have tested it on a few items and it seems to work well. You can either save parts & assemblies as PDF (with the option turned on to enable 3D), or you can export a U3D file from SolidWorks and import the file into Acrobat (you have to have Acrobat Acrobat Professional to use the U3D option). Beware in that it will increase the file size of the pdf if you use this functionality. So far the file sizes look to be comparable to an E-Drawing. (comparing similar parts)
You could also do it by purchasing Adobe Acrobat 3D at a wonderful price of $1,000 per license. (I think they have an upgrade if you already have Acrobat Pro for around $500)

Ar> Hi,
Ricky,
Did you do any measuring of the 3D PDF file at all. That's the only problem I've seen with the 3D PDF
I haven't tested the measure tool yet. I'll have a look and see how it works.
