I just noticed that area calculations are based on displayed face area and not actual face area.
Create a disk with a hole in the center. Turn on section view and make sure it cuts the disk in half. Measure the surface area. Now turn off the section view and measure the same face. Should measure twice what it was in the section view.
This is not right. Section view should only open inner details, not change the area of the internal faces.
