I have two parts. One in inches and the other in mm
Is there anyway of converting the inches model to mm?

John, From the Tools menu, select Options. On the Document tab select Units. Pick the units you would like to use either by changing the lenght units to mm or by setting the unit system to MMGS. Flip back and forth as often as you like. Also remember that when you enter values for dimensions you can use any units you like, for example in your inch part you can type "6.35mm" for a dimension value and Solidworks will convert it for you.
