For a long time I have had Solidworks (2003 all service packs)crash
Believe it or not, since installing Microsoft Flight Simulator on my computer over a month ago I have only crashed twice & I can certainly live with that.

but the big question is--
are you crashing SW less because of the installation, or because you're now playing Flight Sim so much that you don't have as much time to "play" with SW?
I am using a Compaq Evo N800v laptopP4 1.7 with 512 mb the video card is an ATI Radeon 7500, Windows XP pro SP1 & I have tried stand alone as well as networked. The other computer in the office is a P4 1.7, 1 gb, XP pro with a quadro card & it also crashes quite often - but it doesn't now have the benifit of flight sim 2002. I believe that one or more of the programs loaded on the computers has installed dll or something that is older than the one required by solidworks & installing flight has has replaced that or those files.
