Where did it come from? Are you certain it's a SolidWorks macro? The ".bas" extension is used by Visual Basic (up to ver 6) for VB code modules.

If it is in fact a SW macro, change the extension to ".swp" and try to open it from SolidWorks.

You can also import it into a current macro as a module.
