I don't think it is the default until you have more than one configuration

So if I created an APPEARANCE for "this configuration only" it would then change all my dimensions to "this configuration only" ? Because this is something that I did in the previous file I was working on, NOT, however, in the file that I discovered all of my dimensions were changed in. Now I'm wondering how much of the work I did that day is going to be confused with dimensions referencing "this configuration only". Dangerous thing, that! if thats how it works! Going to have to play around with this and see exactly what happens.
