I'll bet that eDrawings would integrate with the system. It should just operate like a browser plug-in, is free, does not require licensing, and will open all native SW files.

I don't know about IFS specifically but it shouldn't be any different than assigning any file extension to a default viewing application.

What about using Adobe *.PDF files of drawings. SW 2004 has this format now built in as a export (saveas) option. PDF's are almost universally accepted in ERP system viewers.
