It was a little tool that suspended all rebuilds until asked explicitely... On huge parts it was a real great timesaver. Does sombody knows if something has replaced this?
Thanks

There are some macros around that accomplish the same basic thing, though they're not nearly as polished as Philippe's), and I don't know where to find them. I'm still using RedLight. It was a free download, but I'm not sure redistibution is allowed. Philippe still appears here occasionally, perhaps he will notice us and chime in.
I did finally find a case where it causes problems, though. If you insert a library feature while rebuilds are halted, you can get multiple sketches with the same name. At least, back in 2005. This can cause strangeness when you need to reference the dimensions in the new sketches.
by popular demand :-)
I installed it on SW2007-64bit - twice.
It is not showing up under Tools/Addins.
Fantastic Philippe!
But it's not showing with SolidWorks 2006 x64 neither. I'll try with a x86 version later today...

It states it's free, but I don't see a download link. Do I need to go through all the Pay Pal stuff? How much?
Keith
I believe the "Red Light" at the top is the link.

Ok, after a second look.. How about the box on the right that says "downloads box"?.
My company has a Internet Block/Usage/Tracking program installed called "websense" on it's server to prevent improper internet use. It must also prevent some web pages interface dialogs. I was able to see and download from the "downloads box" at home. At work, the "downloads box" was not even shown.

Now it looks like it's making me hiccup! or maybe it's our server.
The downloads box doesn't show with Netscape but does with IE. gk
I'm also using IE.
