Right. Generally, SW can only bend material, not stretch it. Lofted bends can handle a little stretching, but that's it.

You can create a sheet metal part with emboss features, but the flat pattern will not flatten the emboss features. The result is a flat pattern for all of the bends that includes the finished emboss feature. Although not perfect, this is relatively useful for making the sheet metal part and properly placing the emboss feature.
