One important feature of 3D sketch splines that I did not have time to cover in my Curves presentation at SolidWorks World this year was the tangent face constraint.
The reason that this is so important is that it does not often need a reference projected curve or intersection curve to be used as a "bridge curve." The problem is that it is rather undiscoverable in that you must pick both the spline, the edge it lies on as well as the surface to be tangent to. To see click on the following link.
