Want to make a Model out of a Viper Emblem (snakehead)

I need a model of a Viper snakehead emblem...I will use Camworks to create CNC code to machine it into a part...

How can a JPG file be translated into solidworks??..can it??..

Anyone that can help, I appreciate it

Baren-Boym sells a relatively inexpensive add-in that works pretty well on monochrome logos and such. Unfortunately, I can't seem to navigate their website <

right now to tell you any more about it.

I believe their was some discussion in this newsgroup sometime in the last year or two that brought up a couple of other solutions as well. Try a newsgroup search on google.

Corel has something built in to convert to DXF.. Hyjack has something as well for DXF export.

Personally, I prefer sketching over the image, much more control.
