Your Local Kinkos will match the price

I thought i would let everybody know that my local kinkos matched the price quoted by the kinko solidworks has set up to print out the new manuals. You can have your kinkos match it by giving them a printout of the webpage where it lists the price and store contact on SW website. It will save you the time and shipping and handeling charges. Hope that helps some of you.

I just received a quote for color printing this guide from Kinkos : $0.49/page x 982 pages = $481.18 I think I'll stick with the B&W.

Wrong! My Kinkos down the street will not match this price! They stated double this cost. I emailed the SolidWorks web page stating all the kinkos conditions and they still would not match the price. I guess I'm just lucky I drive through Madison, Wisconsin routinely.

I dont know i just picked my manuals last night for the $29 price it ends up being 2 bounded manuals because of the size. I guess the kinkos where i live are better at customer support. I did have to get the original store to email them the cost breakdown (i guess its internal mumbo jumbo). I have a feeling though the original store SW setup will not be to happy emailing a ton of stores and losing out on the sales. Sorry you had such a problem

I guess that's one advantage to living in southern Wisconsin (picking up my new SWG in Madison), though I sure I've spent more than $30 in heat, snow removal, winter wear and doctor bills lately!

COPYMAX WILL GENERALLY BEAT KINKOS.

Rocko,

My Kinkos didn't want to have anything to do with it, even with the web page. They told me to order it from the store that made the offer, back east.

We have a big Toshiba printer/copier/fax that will print two sides and even punch the holes. Probably be cheaper just to run it on that.

Just to clarify! True Madison, Wisconsin is east of the Mississippi River, but only by about 90 miles. Wisconsin is actual considered in Midwest. Just wanted to help the geography deprived. Funny, us Midwesterners consider "eastern" to be Virginia and states north along the coast and about one state west of those.

PS It's amazing what one can learn via this newsgroup!
