My father just purchased a Cast Iron train consisting of a locomotive, coal car, and 3 passenger cars. The coal car has "PRR" on each side. Does anyone know where we can find more information on this train or type of train?

Start searching here. Type in cast iron toys, cast iron trains, magazines, clubs, etc. Your library or book store should have books on antique toys. And search Ebay too. While the train your Father picked up is most likely a new reproduced item, searching can be fun. LTG :)
