Model Train Open House

For those of you in the Baltimore, MD area be sure to check out the open house of the Baltimore Society of Model Engineers, before its too late.

Every Sunday in January 1-5pm.

We are located at 225 W. Saratoga St in downtown Baltimore, between Howard St and Park Ave. Howard Street is the extension of I-395 into downtown. I-395 is the main downtown exit from I-95. If you are driving south it will be just after going through the Fort McHenry Tunnel (tunnel toll is $1.00). Saratoga Street is one block south of Mulberry Street, which is route 40 eastbound. Parking is available on the street and is free on Sundays. We are one block north of the Lexington Light Rail Station, and two blocks east of the Lexington Market Metro station.

We have both HO and O scale (thats two rail 1/4" to the foot) steam, disel, electric, and trolleys. Each layout is each 12x65 feet, plus railroad heralds, and other assorted railroad items.

We are also running two seperate raffles, one is a winners choice of the G gauge Clementine set, HO Thomas the tank engine set, or HO Harry Potter's Hogwarts Express set. Tickets just $1 ea or

6 for $5. Drawing takes place January 25th, at 5pm

And for those who want a more respectible prize, we have a Life Like Proto2000 E8/9 B&O A/B set. Tickets $2 ea or 3 for $5. Drawing fot this is not unitl August.

Apparently you haven't heard. Our wonderful State Government has just doubled the tolls on the Harbor and Ft. McHenry tunnels.
