A friend of mine has a Compspeed that has the big power resistor (short circuit monitoring resistor) burned. The resistor is in such a condition that it is impossible to reliably read the colour bands of the resistor.
Are there any Compspeed owners that might have a look inside their compspeed and tell me the colour bands of this power resistor (or, if known, the correct value of the power resistor)? It is the component close the green LED and is soldered so that the component is not flush with the printed circuit board to assist in cooling.
