Heard from a dealer that Lionel is going back into HO scale with a

Lionel dealers have been notified with a flyer from Lionel. There is also going to be a UP Veranda. At least is what I am told by dealers in NYC
Yes, According to what i've read on the O gauge forums i frequent, Lionel was going to make the annoucement at the Toronto NMRA convention/train show. I guess that they will annouce it somehow. The MSRP is 600$,hopefully the discount will be to around 450$. It will have sound, i don't know if it will smoke. There has been no information as to if it will be DCC ready/compatible or if Lionel will be using its' TMCC.
Perhaps they're buying it in from Maerklin/Trix? (the German rumour is only that they have more US locos in the pipeline :-)
