Restaurants that use Trains?

Adrian, Damn, I walked past the place today, just to check that it is still there, which it is. The name can't be 'Sushi Train' as I couldn't find anything of that name in the phone book. It's located in Flinders Lane, between Elizabeth and Swanston streets, on the north side. It's a long narrow place with a window to the Lane and a longer window to an arcade alongside, the arcade runs between the Lane and Collins St. Its number would be around 250 or so. If your army mate knows Melbourne he should be able to find it from this description. The train had two LGB four-wheeled yellow elec.locos, hauling a train of fourteen bogie flats, each of which had two dishes thereon. Regards, Bill.

Hey Bill,

Thanks for the heads up. I'm sure he'll be able to track it down from your description.

We live a mile from the Choo-Choo in des Plaines. (This isn't far from the first Kroc McDonald's, as it happens)

Choo-Choo's uses Lionel flatcars running around the inside of a continuous counter. It's very popular with kids.

There was another on the south side of Chicago, many years ago that i remember.
