Ok anyone know what locomotives would most likely have been used to push around SP Daylight's cars in the yards to make up a train or in & out of service areas around the very late 40s & very early 50s

In San Francisco and Oakland most likely 0-6-0 steam. In LA it could have been an 0-6-0 or Alco or Baldwin switchers. Both San Francisco and Oakland had special passenger switchers with fancy paint jobs and nickel plating.
