Stores in the Bay area and in Vegas

Hi, My wife and I are planning on a trip to the US for this summer and we will be touring round San Francisco and Las Vegas. As a model railroad fan, I would like to make a few purchases in N scale. Among them is the California Zephyr in N scale (A pair of Rio Grande F3 units by Kato and a seven corrugated car consist by Concor).

I have already selected a few stores : In San francisco:

- Franciscan hobbies

- Chan's trains & kits In Las Vegas:

- Train exchange

- Hobbytown USA

I would like to know if any of you folks can tell me more about them or about other stores that might be more into N scale. Thanks in advance,

Manuel

Down the road a bit from SF in Millbrae you have Trackside Trains, a tiny but very good shop that is mostly N scale. (on Rollins Rd. off of Millbrae Ave. Millbrae Ave. has an exit from 101). Then farther down 101 there is San Antonio Hobby in Mountain View, The Train Shop in Santa Clara (at Winchester and Pruneridge). Thre is also Talbot's Toys in San Mateo. Don't let the name fool you. This is a pretty good place.

Also, THE RUMOR MILL: Kato has been hinting at doing a "famous passenger train" in N scale either this or next year.......and they seem to like doing western railroads.....soooooo.....who knows? The Zephyr? I don't know but that would be a logical choice.
