Some really interesting pictures of winter railroading in Norway and in Finland were recently posted.

Marcus:

Pretty neat. Is that just a service & inspection vehicle, or do they use it to pull small trains?

Cordially yours: Gerard P.

Just service and inspection and similar, but sometimes that include pulling a individual carriage loaded with for example macadam - which make the Scania look quite small :)

I'm almost afraid to ask what that red stain is on the snow brush.

Anyone else remember that part from the Ian Fleming/James Bond book?
