He's selling a rather attractive TVO fueled single cylinder Petters A series. However, it is plated as a Petters AP2 , serial number 352699. This number seriers does not appear in Peter Forbes' Petters Tech Pages on oldengine.org. Can anyone advise him batter than I can?

Could it be an APS ?

The number range may be incorrect, but the 'S' and '2' may be confused if stamped incorrectly or damaged.

The APS is listed at petrol/TVO so that fits OK.

Look at the first line on the page:
