Was in my back garden this afternoon and heard the beautiful sound of an old engine overhead. It was a biplane taking off from Kirkbride airfield. All polished aluminium and flying very slow in the direction of Scotland. Anyone have any idea what it could have been? ( camera not available at the time, sadly). If it was a replica, they certainly got the engine sound right!!!
