I have just noticed that the lower water outlet on your Lister N is on the flywheel side. My one has that outlet facing the back. I have never noticed that before and wonder why they had that variation Gordon Banfield New Zealand

I think it was just the position the engine was mounted in, probably with tank mounted at the side. You can take out the plug at the rear and use that instead if required.
