A silly question, but can someone tell me how to access UK.REC.MODELS.RAIL archives?

Lachlan,
Go to Google and select 'Groups' (above the query box).
Once in the Groups section type the name of the group into the 'Find a Group' box and you will be presented with the names of a few groups, one of them being the one you want. If you click on the name, you will be presented with the most recent messages in the group, and you can backtrack through all the topics if you want, or its usually a lot quicker searching for what you want using appropriate key words.
