Bachmann 66s

Just heard that the Bachmann class 66s are being airfreighted into the UK in the next day or so.

Airfreight is costly, so i would presume they are coming in in a small number?

Any news on blue 31 via Hornby John?

The inference was they were flying *them* rather than *some of them* into the country, but we'll soon know.

Hopefully into the shops next week with a bit of luck!

Well as Bachmann (as opposed to Farish or Aristocraft) have only announced a class 66 in 4mm scale I think it fair to assume it will be OO-gauge. ;-)

Just wanted to be sure, as some people only say Bachmann when talking about Bachmann Farish, and I think they are doing a Class 66 as well.

I understand these have lights that can be configured between day and night running?

Any ideas of the price? I know RRP is 72.95 :-(

Thinking about it, if these are 70 quid locos, the G gauge 66 from Artistocrat looks like good value at just over 300 quid. Indeed my local stockist suggested if the G gauge 66 was produced in the same volume as OO gauge locos, the price would be the same as OO models. If its true, that food for thought . . . . .

That's supposedly correct.

We'll be selling around £62.00

Supposedly has an RRP of £399.00
