Just wondering if anyone has looked at fitting the lastest Bachmann Hall chassis to a Modified Hall body ? Is it a practical proposition ?

Had a look at this last night; they weren't my locos so I couldn't get the hacksaw out :-(
The limiting factor seems to be the different mounting arrangements used on the new & old models at either end to hold the body & chassis together; the Modified Hall body almost, but not quite, slips onto the new chassis. It looks like with a bit of sawing & fabrictaing a new mounting behind the front bufferbeam, it should all fit. But I can be
