Worked for me just now.
There is some useful stuff on it, eg the discussions about GWR hounds vans and GWR tilt wagons, but like all web forums you need to explicitly go there and there are just too many similar forums.
Which is why I prefer Usenet and email groups - the stuff comes to you.
