Yeah? Well it's sunny and warm in Notts, but we had a great Thunderstorm at

1am ! (I fib - it';s now overcast but warm, but not far off from sunny!)

Hot, sunny, blue skies, golden sands here in Weston-super-Mare. I might have lied about one of those...

Yeah, I'd lie about being in Weston-super-Mare, too... :-)

Serves you right for living in 'Ull.

Hasn't rained at all today...

We've had a bloody hot June and July in Ontario with no relief. Both my electric (A/C) and water bill are up significantly. So far, August is more like June should have been - or September!

Got a guy from Perth (Western Australia) staying (long term) here in Hull and he reckons the WA winter is much warmer than our summers, and I think he's probably got a very valid point.

Mind you the sun is trying to shine here today and the snow is starting to melt. ;-)

35 "days" of sunshine since the last "day" it rained during daylight hours, and that was only 3mm of rain.

Sadly, or thankfully, we had a torrential downpour, about 23mm of rain, between 01:00 and 03:00 two nights ago but by daybreak, the clouds had gone and the temps are back up into the mid to high 20s.

No rain in the forecast until maybe next week. Heading for 29c over the weekend.

Mind you, the start of our summer was wet with way above average rainfall from late May until about mid June when it's usually quite dry.

We'll have to try to do something about both parts of that statement...

Like get both of them stopped!
