I'm hoping for a Hornby Class 110 and maybe that rather fine looking new loco-drive A3. What will you be asking Santa for?

I would like an ESU Mobile Control set, but struggling to find one anywhere! :-(
John.
The new Bachmann Ivatt Pig...in LMS...
Of course, Pigs have a tendency to fly too.
I`m on Good terms with Santa. He has already delivered my Cotswold rail class 47 via one of his elves know as JT! Santa has said if I am good and do the washing up to earn extra pocket money, i may also recieve a class 57, 3x Dogfish, 2 x 60 and a BR Ivatt plus
3 ex-lms coches. Thats allot of dishes i got to do!
I'm asking for mine in early BR livery.
A BR liveried Flying Pig, or two, but I will probably just get socks.

My wife bought me 50 pairs of socks one Christmas - I don't get them any more! ;-)

Simon, Get a dishwasher, then you will have more time to "play" with the new locos (Hint !)
;-)

Alternatively, get some paper plates, which you can just chuck out. The money that you would have spent on the dishwasher can now be spent on summink reely important - like half a dozen new locos! :-D
Unlikely to get either, though.

Phil: We've just had the loft conversion..... and as soon as I have finished the rest of the consequent tiling etc.... the new layout will be appearing with its new lightweight aluminium* frame and polycarbonate* baseboards..... featherweight boards replacing chipboard, 50mmx25mm and ply after all these years. (*already bought and held in stock)
I would be a very good boy for several years (well, a few weeks at least) if Santa could find time to order (and pay for!) an N - Thusiast class 60 in BR two - tone construction sector.
Incidentally, I would probably end up requesting that this loco be delivered in "ex-works" condition. Am I missing a trick here? Should I take advantage of the "free weathering" offer? Or should I stick to my guns and have both a working model and a very attractive shelf ornament as well?

I have talked the wife into letting me have my Standard 4MT tank early as a treat, so I have hinted that it may be a nice surprise to receive a weathered Standard 5MT so I can use the Steam Sound decoder I have aquired.
I have also given her a list of wanted rolling stock that would be nice to receive at prices from £6 -£26. My family are always asking her what I want for Christmans, so now they know:)
A three foot barrage so the bottom of the garden doesn't flood and I can use my new layout all year round.
Ken.
A D&RGW Challenger, just 'cuz I like those beasts. Thne most elegant articulated loco ever built IMO.
But since Santa here has to use my wallet, it will be another Christmas or two before I get one.
Sigh.

That's an unusual configuration, what's the minimum radius?

Surely that depends upon the height (or length) depending upon the position at any particular time, not forgetting the impact of gravity on the larger dimension.
Sounds like a man of me own heart really. ;-)

Alternatively considering the amount of exercise many contributors to this NG take it sounds more like a Health and Safety issue. :-)
An MSL 7mm scale brass EM1 ready-to-run and finished in BR black. Not that I have a layout to run it on, it'd just look nice! But realistically? A big pil eof pennies to spend at BH Enterprises & TPM.
