Irrelevant. The NEC is outside the city.
OK, thanks.
Hi Peter.
("Extortionate parking fees? Where in a major city could you park for £6.50/day)"
It,s not in the city it's on its own purpose-built site!!!
It's not £6.50 it's now £7.00 and as for the shuttle bus to the exhibition it is Quicker to walk, (HA HA ) but you are still not going to get me there this year !!
All the best Steve.
I agree. The point I was making that a similar exhibition in a major city would easliy cost as much for parking for a few hours and without the facility of a 'free' shuttle bus.
Also, being just off the motorway it is easy to get into. Try driving into central B/ham sometime, or any similar size city.

Most of the exhibitions which I visit have free parking, including some in the major cities in the north. They also have the advantage in being much smaller than Warley and a consequence you can examine all of the exhibits at your leisure within a single day.
Small is beautiful. Warley isn't small - just a cacophony of chaos in my experience.
John.
