Does this welding hood look familiar ?

I don't recognize the hood, but I've been real happy with the products and services I have gotten from Daytona Mig. I've got a 145 amp Italian (Ceborra I think) mig welder with their brand on it. They also supply all the consumables for my Ceborra plasma cutter. Fast and friendly.

Yes Daytona Mig is highly regarded, in fact this is posted in reference to the 'blue' HF helmet.

Yup. It's the same cheap one from Harbor Freight. And they ask only $49.9 for it. Mine just arrived today, horror stories of HF shipping not withstanding (first buy ever). I read postings about it not being bad so I went for it. On first inspection works, seems well made, so we'll see how it behaves on the long run. BTW, "German-crafted lens" I doubt verrry much ;-)
